Prerelease is a celebration: it's the first opportunity for our MTG community to connect with the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer. Players open a Prerelease Pack, build a 40-card Sealed deck, and try out the set for the first time in a casual tournament.  There are 5 different factions, so kit's will be handed out randomly but players will be given time to swop with each other before the kits are opened.

Prizing:  We'll be offering "Flat Prizing" of 2 Booster Packs per player which is 1 if you complete round 1 and a second after completing round 3.  Players who drop out before the first round will not receive any prize packs.


Pre-release is the grandest celebration of a set; it's the community’s first opportunity to get their hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release. Pre-release Packs are the perfect product to fuel the first events of a new set release, allowing players to explore what the set has to offer and giving them everything they need to make their first deck.

Team Avatar is back! The action, adventure, and spirit of Avatar: The Last Airbender awaken in Magic: The Gathering. Master new mechanics Earthbending, Airbending, Waterbending and Firebending to tell your version of the story and discover your Magic playstyle. Bend the elements. Master the game.

Prerelease is your  first opportunity to experience the story and strategy of Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender. Each Pre-release Pack invites players to join Aang, Katara, Zuko, Toph, or Azula and explore their elemental identity through Magic gameplay. Including a seeded booster pack for each character, players will build a deck and begin their journey to master the elements.
